Sekundarni naslov: | Examining the motives for going glamping in connection with sustainable business |
Sekundarni povzetek: | Nowadays tourists are becoming more aware of the effects of tourism on the environment and local communities. Their motives for visiting are largely related to green practices. They opt for authentic experiences and choose to spend time actively. They follow sustainable practices also in their daily lives. As a result, the demand for alternative sustainable forms of tourist accommodation and activities is growing. One of the sustainable forms of accommodation is also glamping. There are quite a few different glamorous camps in Slovenia and what they all have in common is that they want to offer a comfortable stay in nature. This includes elements of sustainable business which can be measured by various criteria. If a tourist accommodation wants to operate sustainably, it must take into account sustainable practices in all aspects of business. We analyzed the operations of Glamping Olimia Adria village using the Global sustainable tourism criteria-GSTC and provided guidelines for improving sustainable operations according to the above criteria. |
