Povzetek

Zaradi vedno večjega onesnaževanja in poseganja v naravo se svet sooča z okoljskimi problemi. Pomembno je, da se o varovanju okolja ozavešča že najmlajše generacije, ki bodo naredile spremembe in ohranjale okolje, v katerem bodo živele tudi naslednje generacije. Vsak posameznik se mora zavedati, da je prav on tisti, ki mora prevzeti odgovornost in spoštovati naravo, saj brez nje ne bi bilo nas in življenja na Zemlji. Ekološko ozaveščanje je zelo pomembno pri razvoju takšnega razmišljanja, učenci pa znanje in vrednote pridobijo z okoljskimi projekti in delavnicami, kjer spoznajo pomen varovanja narave. Med pandemijo covida-19 so se šole zaprle in učenci so se šolali doma, vendar pa se je ozaveščanje o varovanju okolja nadaljevalo tudi na daljavo. V empiričnem delu smo prek spletne ankete raziskali, kakšno je zanimanje za varovanje okolja pri učiteljih razrednega pouka, saj imajo prav oni pomembno vlogo pri ozaveščanju učencev. Veliko vlogo pri ekološkem ozaveščanju predstavljajo tudi projekti, ki potekajo na šolah, zato nas je zanimalo, kakšna je vključenost osnovnih šol v okoljske projekte. Učitelji veliko novega znanja, idej in izkušenj pridobijo s sodelovanjem na konferencah, zato smo raziskali tudi, kako ocenjujejo svojo vključenost na konferencah, katerih tematika je varovanje okolja. Med raziskavo je potekalo šolanje na daljavo zaradi pandemije covida-19, zato smo med drugim raziskali, kakšne težave so imeli pri ozaveščanju o varovanju okolja v času dela na daljavo, katere načine ozaveščanja so ubrali, kako ocenjujejo poučevanje med delom na daljavo in kakšnih sprememb si želijo glede ekološkega ozaveščanja na šolah. Anketo je ustrezno izpolnilo 96 učiteljev razrednega pouka, ki poučujejo v Pomurju. Učitelji se največ vključujejo v različne okoljske akcije za varovanje okolja. Skoraj vsi učitelji, ki so bili anketirani, se strinjajo, da so s šolo in razredom vključeni v okoljske projekte za varovanje okolja, medtem ko se konferenc o varovanju okolja udeležuje manj kot polovica učiteljev razrednega pouka. Ugotovitve so pokazale, da večina učiteljev ni imela težav pri ozaveščanju o varovanju okolja v času dela na daljavo, ubrali pa so različne načine, kako učence ekološko ozaveščati. Učitelji so se v večini strinjali, da bi snov okoljske tematike bolje izpeljali v šoli. Se pa na splošno anketirani učitelji v večini strinjajo, da so potrebne spremembe glede ekološkega ozaveščanja na šolah.

Sekundarni povzetek: Due to increasing pollution and encroachment on nature, the world is facing environmental problems. It is important that even the youngest generations become aware of environmental protection, which will make changes and preserve the environment in which future generations will live. Every individual must realize that it is he/she who must take responsibility and respect nature, because without it there would be no us and no life on Earth. Ecological awareness plays a huge role in the development of such thinking, and students acquire knowledge and values through environmental projects and workshops, where they learn about the importance of protecting nature. During the covid-19 pandemic, schools were closed, and students were home-schooled, but environmental awareness continued even remotely. In the empirical part, we used an online survey to investigate the level of interest in environmental protection among classroom teachers, as they play an important role in raising students' awareness. Projects that take place at schools also play a big role in ecological awareness, so we were interested in the involvement of elementary schools in environmental projects. Teachers gain a lot of new knowledge, ideas, and experience by participating in conferences, so we also investigated how they evaluate their participation in conferences, the topic of which is environmental protection. During the research, home-schooling took place due to the covid-19 pandemic, so we investigated, among other things, what problems they had in raising awareness about environmental protection during teleworking, what methods of awareness they used, how they evaluate teaching during teleworking and what changes they want in terms of ecological awareness in schools. The survey was duly completed by 96 classroom teachers who teach in Pomurje. Teachers are mostly involved in various environmental campaigns to protect the environment. Almost all the teachers who were surveyed agree that they are involved in environmental projects with their school and class to protect the environment, while less than half of grade level teachers attend conferences on environmental protection. The findings showed that most teachers had no problems raising awareness about environmental protection during home-schooling, and they chose different ways to raise students' ecological awareness. Most teachers agreed that the subject of environmental topics would be better implemented in school. However, in general, the surveyed teachers mostly agree that changes are needed regarding ecological awareness in schools.
