Sekundarni povzetek: The purpose of this dissertation is to present two physical activity programmes, Zlati sonček and Krpan, which are aimed at increasing physical activity among children between 5 and 11 years of age in physical education classes, and to show the results of analysis of how successfully the two programmes are being implemented in the Gorenjska region. The questionnaire was prepared and then completed by 100 primary school teachers. Our research is to asses the programmes' effectiveness in primary schools in the Gorenjska region, the efforts and involvement of teachers, as well as the programmes' popularity among children and their parents. It also covers the question of how physically demanding these programmes are and gives information on the ability of schools to provide all necessary equipment and accessories for their realization. It gives an answer on the suitability of the prepared physical activity motivation programmes. According to the results it can be concluded that the programmes are mostly in favour with the teachers, and also with the children, who like both of them. The teachers agree that they are designed appropriately to suit the children's physical abilities and that the schools mostly offer all appropriate equipment. They believe the programmes are effective in motivating children for participation in physical activity, while the parents prove to be somewhat less actively involved. We strive to raise awareness of the importance of regular physical activity or exercise for the children's overall development among teachers and parents. And this activity could be enriched and made more enjoyable with the programmes Zlati sonček and Krpan.

Povzetek (ePrints): Namen diplomskega dela je predstaviti športna programa Zlati sonček in Krpan, ki sta namenjena otrokom od 5. do 11. leta starosti in prikazati rezultate analize izvedbe športnih programov Zlati sonček in Krpan v gorenjski regiji. Anketo je izpolnilo 100 učiteljev razrednega pouka. Bistvo naše raziskave je ugotoviti, kako se v gorenjskih osnovnih šolah obneseta športna programa, kako ju sprejemajo razredni učitelji, otroci in nenazadnje tudi starši s svojim sodelovanjem pri programih. Dotaknili smo se tudi gibalne zahtevnosti programov in izvedeli informacije o tem, v kolikšni meri šole nudijo vadbene pripomočke za izvajanje programov. Dobili smo odgovor na to, če je zastavljen motivacijski sistem ustrezen. Na podlagi rezultatov lahko povzamemo, da so razredni učitelji večinoma naklonjeni športnima programoma, prav tako otroci, katerim sta programa všeč. Učitelji potrjujejo, da sta programa gibalno ustrezna in da jim šole v večji meri nudijo vadbene pripomočke. Motivacijski sistem po mnenju razrednih učiteljev spodbuja otroke k vadbi, malo manj pa so aktivni pri sodelovanju v programih starši. Želimo si, da bi se vse več učiteljev in staršev zavedalo, kako pomembna je gibalna oziroma športna dejavnost za celostni razvoj otroka in bi jo s športnima programoma še obogatili.
