Sekundarni povzetek:	Diploma work begins with the definition of fantasy and its structure, adapted from the book The Magic Code: The Use of Magical Patterns and Fantasy for Children by swedish structuralist Maria Nikolajeva from 1988. Followed by the presentation of american writer Lyman Frank Baum (1856-1919) and his bibliography. The following is a presentation of his most famous work, in the slovenian version of the fantasy The Wondeful Wizard of Oz first published in 1959 and comparison with the same name film (The Wonderful Wizard of Oz) in 1939 directed by Victor Fleming. There are the major literary persons, side-literary person and helpers presented. The analysis of the fantastic elements is presented, which Maria Nikolajeva described in her book The Magic Code: The Use of Magical Patterns and Fantasy for Children (1988). In the last, special-didactic part of a diploma, i am stating the proposal of a fantasy The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1900) based on educational methods of interpretation, which shows how the teacher teaching the class can deal with this work for teaching literature in the fourth grade of primary school. The proposal follows the teaching of communication objectives that are presented in the revised curriculum for Slovenian language – The elementary school program. Slovenian language. Curriculum (2011). In addition to analyzing the new curriculum for Slovenian language are also presented reading books for the fourth grade of primary school.

Povzetek (ePrints):	Diplomsko delo začenjam z definicijo fantastične pripovedi in njeno strukturo, povzeto po knjigi Fantastična koda: uporaba fantazijskih vzorcev v fantastičnih pripovedih za otroke [The magic code: the use of magical patterns in fantasy for children] švedske strukturalistke Marie Nikolajeve iz leta 1988. Sledi predstavitev ameriškega pisatelja Lymana Franka Bauma (1856–1919) in njegove bibliografije. V nadaljevanju je predstavljeno njegovo najbolj znano delo, in sicer slovenska različica knjige Čarovnik iz Oza, ki je bila prvič izdana leta 1959, in primerjava z istoimenskim filmom (Čarovnik iz Oza) režiserja Victorja Fleminga iz leta 1939. Predstavljene so glavne ter stranske književne osebe in pomočniki/rešitelji. Opisana je analiza fantastičnih elementov, ki jih je Maria Nikolajeva predstavila v knjigi Fantastična koda: uporaba fantazijskih vzorcev v fantastičnih pripovedih za otroke [The magic code: the use of magical patterns in fantasy for children] leta 1988. V zadnjem, specialno-didaktičnem delu diplome navajam predlog obravnave fantastične pripovedi Čarovnik iz Oza (1900) na osnovi metode šolske interpretacije, s katero želim pokazati, kako bi učitelj razrednega pouka lahko obravnaval to delo pri pouku književnosti v četrtem razredu osnovne šole. Predlog didaktične komunikacije izhaja iz ciljev, ki so predstavljeni v prenovljenem učnem načrtu za slovenščino – Program osnovna šola. Slovenščina. Učni načrt (2011). Poleg analize novega učnega načrta za slovenščino so predstavljena tudi berila za četrti razred devetletne osnovne šole.
