Povzetek

V Sloveniji se v redne programe osnovne šole izvaja integracija otrok s posebnimi potrebami. Znotraj rednega programa izobraževanja se jim zagotavlja dodatna strokovna in učna pomoč, s prilagoditvami. Ni znano, ali so starši in otroci zadovoljni z obstoječim izobraževalnim sistemom in z izvajanjem vzgojno izobraževalnega procesa, zato nas je zanimalo, kakšno je njihovo osebno mnenje in njihove dosedanje izkušnje ter kakšni so njihovi predlogi za izboljšanje sistema. V diplomskem delu smo s pomočjo raziskave ugotavljali, kakšno je zadovoljstvo staršev in otrok glede izvajanja dodatne strokovne in učne pomoči, ali so zadovoljni z izvajanjem prilagoditev, kje in kakšne težave opažajo ter kako bi lahko izboljšali zagotavljanje ustreznih prilagoditev vsakemu posamezniku posebej. Kvalitativno besedno analizo mnenj staršev in otrok smo naredili s pomočjo opravljenih intervjujev s starši in z otroci s posebnimi potrebami, ki so vključeni v redni program vzgoje in izobraževanja. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da so starši v splošnem z dodatno strokovno in učno pomočjo zadovoljni, težave pa se pojavljajo pri interpretaciji in izvajanju prilagoditev; otroci pa so v splošnem z izobraževanjem v srednji šoli bolj zadovoljni kot z izobraževanjem v osnovni šoli.

Sekundarni povzetek: In Slovenia, regular elementary school programmes integrate children with special needs. Within the scope of a regular education programme, such children receive professional and teaching assistance with adjustments. It is not known whether parents and children are pleased with the existing educational system and implementation of educational process, which is why we inquired about their opinions and current experiences as well as their proposals for improving the system. Based on a research study, the diploma thesis presents the satisfaction of parents and children regarding the implementation of additional professional and educational assistance, the implementation of adjustments, problems that they have noticed and any improvements to ensure suitable personalised adjustments. The qualitative textual analysis of the parents and children’s opinions was performed using interviews with parents and children with special needs who are included in a regular educational programme. Research results have shown that parents are generally satisfied with additional professional and educational assistance, but that problems do occur in the interpretation and implementation of adjustments; children, however, are generally more satisfied with secondary education than primary.
