Od tega je bilo 154 deklic, starih 10,4 leta (SO = 0,914) in 190 dečkov, starih 10,35 leta (SO = 0,945) Podatki, so bili pridobljeni v okviru projekta z naslovom "SODOBNI TRENDI TELESNEGA, GIBALNEGA IN OSEBNOSTNEGA RAZVOJA SLOVENSKIH OSNOVNOŠOLCEV - SOCIALNI STATUS IN ŽIVLJENJSKI SLOG STA POMEMBNA DEJAVNIKA OTROKOVEGA RAZVOJA". Podatki o socialnem položaju družine so bili pridobljeni s pomočjo "Vprašalnika o socialnem položaju družine". Starši anketirancev so bili z anketo seznanjeni in so z njo soglašali. Dečki očetov s srednjo izobrazbo so na dan športno dejavni 92 minut, le 4 minute manj so športno dejavni dečki očetov z visoko izobrazbo.

The impact of socioeconomic status on psysical activity of children in early adolescence |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
The purpose of the research was to establish connection of patriarch education and physical activity of children in early adolescence. 344 children from the northeast of Slovenia participated in the research. They were all from 9 to 11 years old. There were 154 girls, aged 10.4 years (SO=0,914) and 190 boys, aged 10.35 years (SO=0.945). Data was obtained within project called: The Modern Trends of Physical, Motor and Personal Development of Slovene Primary School Students - Socioeconomic Status and Lifestyle are Important Factors of Childʼs Development. The data of socioeconomic status were obtained with a ʺQuestionnaire about Familyʼs Socioeconomic Statusʺ. The questionnaire for measuring physical activity, used in this research, was ʺMotor Activity of Young Peopleʺ, which has been used in several Slovene studies. The respondentsʹ parents were familiar with the survey and agreed with it. According to fathers, we divided children in three groups; those which father has low, average or high education. We used analysis of variance (ANOVA) and effect size calculator $(eta2)$ to establish the connection between physical activity and socioeconomic status. Static characteristic was established at risk level 0.05 $(p leq 0.05)$. The results showed that fathersʼ education statistically impacts on the number of minutes boys are physically active, but not on the number of minutes girls are physically active. Boys of fathers with average education are physically active for 92 minutes a day, only 4 minutes less are physically active boys of fathers with high education. Boys of fathers with low education are physically active for 60 minutes a day. The most physically active girls are those whose patriarch has high education. They are physically active for 64 minutes a day. Girls whose patriarch has average education are physically active 11 minutes less and girls whose patriarch has low education are physically active for 48 minutes a day. |
