Abstract

V zaključnem delu raziskujemo motivacijo za delo med pripadniki generacije Y. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili osnovne pojme motivacije ter določene motivacijske teorije in opisali splošne značilnosti pripadnikov generacije Y, ki smo jih lahko zasledili v literaturi. V empiričnem delu smo izvedli raziskavo o motivaciji za delo med pripadniki generacije Y z lastnim anketnim vprašalnikom. Ugotovili smo, da jih od vseh navedenih dejavnikov najbolj motivira uspeh in zadovoljstvo pri delu, medtem ko jih najmanj motivira predvidljivo delo oziroma predvidljive delovne naloge. Rezultatov zaradi neverjetnostnega vzorca sicer ne moremo posplošiti na celotno generacijo Y.

Secondary title: Motivation for work among members of Y generation
Secondary abstract: In the final thesis, we are researching motivation for work among members of generation Y. In the theoretical part of the thesis, we describe basic concepts of motivation, some of the motivational theories, and describe the general characteristics of members of generation Y, that can be found in the literature. In the empirical part of the thesis, we conduct a survey, with our own questionnaire, on motivation for work among members of generation Y. We have found, that among all of the factors, they are most motivated by the feeling of success and satisfaction from work and they are least motivated by predictable work tasks. The results cannot be generalized to the whole generation due to non-probability sampling.
