Abstract

V diplomskem delu z naslovom »Redni letni razgovori v Univerzitetnem kliničnem centru Maribor« je prikazano trenutno stanje sistema izvajanja rednih letnih razgovorov in njihova praktična učinkovitost. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V prvem, teoretičnem delu, se seznanimo z opredelitvijo rednega letnega razgovora, predstavljen je pomen rednih letnih razgovorov na ravni posameznika in organizacije ter nameni in cilji izvedbe rednih letnih razgovorov. Opisane so koristi in pomanjkljivosti, s katerimi se srečujemo pri izvedbi letnega razgovora, ter vloga, ki jo imata vodja in zaposleni pri sami izvedbi. Obravnavali smo tudi komunikacijo, saj je dobra komunikacija med vodjo in zaposlenim temelj za uspešno izveden letni razgovor. Predstavljena je vloga komunikacije in komunikacijskega procesa, opredeljena in opisana sta pojma poslovno komuniciranje in poslovni razgovor ter predstavljene spretnosti in lastnosti, ki jih mora poznati in negovati vodja. Za dobro izvedbo letnega razgovora, ki bo prinesel koristi vsem udeležencem organizacije, sta še posebej pomembna temeljita priprava vseh udeležencev in dobra izvedba. Zato smo v diplomskem delu izpostavili tri pomembna področja, in sicer pripravo na letni razgovor, samo izvedbo razgovora in aktivnosti po njegovem zaključku. Sledi predstavitev Univerzitetnega kliničnega centra Maribor. V drugem, empiričnem delu, je predstavljena analiza rezultatov na temo rednih letnih razgovorov v UKC Maribor. Na podlagi pridobljenih spoznanj so podana priporočila za izboljšanje obstoječe prakse na omenjenem področju.

Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis entitled “Regular yearly interviews at the University Medical Centre Maribor” presents the current state of the regular yearly interview system and its practical efficiency. The diploma thesis consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. The first, theoretical part of the thesis defines the regular yearly interview, presents the importance of the regular yearly interviews on the level of individuals and organization, and outlines purposes and goals of the implementation of regular yearly interviews. The advantages and disadvantages of the implementation of the regular yearly interview, as well as the roles of managers and employees, are described. Effective communication between managers and employees is essential for a successful implementation of yearly interviews; therefore, we examined and presented the role of the communication and the communication process. The concepts of business communication and business interview, as well as characteristics and skills necessary for a manager to know and develop, are defined and described. A thorough preparation of all participants and a good implementation is essential for a well organized yearly interview which will benefit all the members of the organization. Therefore, in this diploma thesis, we emphasised three important areas: a preparation for a yearly interview, an implementation of an interview and activities after the interview. This is followed by a presentation of the University Medical Centre Maribor. In the second, empirical part of the thesis, the analysis of the questionnaire on the topic of the regular yearly interviews at the University Medical Centre Maribor is presented. On the basis of the results, recommendations for improvement of the existing practice are given.
